Emergency sees plane divert

A light aircraft changed its landing destination yesterday after running into difficulties. The plane was due to land at Humberside Airport but diverted to Binbrook Airfield where it landed safely.
Humberside Fire & Rescue were called at 14:50 after the difficulties were reported but crews were not required at the scene. A Humberside Airport spokeswoman said the aircraft was not based at the hub.
