Airport seeks help with disaster exercise
17.05.08
An airport disaster is set to be played out at Humberside Airport later this month - and the hub needs help from locals to carry out the exercise.
As a requirement of their CAA license, the airport has to undertake various emergency exercises. On May 29, the airport will hold a full scale emergency exercise involving all of the emergency agencies.
Around 120 people are needed to help, playing varied roles including passengers, media representatives and others caught up in the drama. The exercise will start at 18:30 and should finish around 21:00. Refreshments will be provided - a free supper and free parking!
Anyone interested in helping out should contact Kevin Mackenzie on 01472 859 047 (leaving your name and contact number) as soon as possible.
