Delayed holidaymakers protest outside travel agent

Over 100 holidaymakers who were due to fly off to Cyprus from Humberside Airport on Saturday held an impromptu demonstration outside a travel agent after a two-day delay. The passengers gathered outside Thomas Cook, on Paragon Street, on Monday morning asking for answers and complaining of a lack of support from the airline.
They had been due to fly from Humberside Airport to Larnaca at 17:15 on Saturday. However, they were taken to the Portland and Royal hotels in Hull, where they spent the next two nights. Another 180 passengers are stranded in Cyprus, with the delay reported to be due to a technical fault with the plane.
